Abe Lincoln quote

It's been a few days since I last posted - it's been busy with family visiting, then Angie took the kids to Oklahoma for a few days...we're still busy with taekwondo, softball and basketball as the summer continues to move toward school, etc.

Ran across a good quote to remember, from one Abraham Lincoln, and this one is a good one as our politicians step up their efforts to "out-negative" one another. Abe said, "When you look for the bad in mankind expecting to find it, you surely will."

That's a good one to remember...

River rats

Angie worked a ton last week, and the kids and I spent some of that time a couple of days by going to the San Marcos river. Lots of people, but lots of fun. In front of probably 200-300 people, I slipped on the smooth rocks at the top of the dam and busted bottom. Blood emerged from my ankle and shin. The kids, on the other hand, walked and played unscathed...
